Telasoni was first inhabited by non-magic using people called Rujar on the only landmass on planet then called Azerelle.
The Rujar was a new and young race, unguided. Rujar lived in desolation and desperately in need of health and wisdom. Then came the Amershal.
A glorious being that appeared out of the forbidden lands, and gave the Rujar guidance and wisdom. He was the first Rujar to ever have powers. He ruled over the Rujar for years, helping them advance and live peacefully.
He had two children, Shan Dhl and Rafiel Kain. The Amershal wanted to pass his powers onto others as well as his children, so the Amershal made the first tournament to see who was worthy. Both children and four others were given the gift.
Then the Amershal was killed. On that very night a division occurred and the land was separated into four different landmasses connected only by a Mountain that creates black thunder. When the divide occurred the four that were given the gift took it open themselves to herd what Rujar there was left into the different continents. Each continent had different teachings and different views on the magic.
It’s been a hundred years, and the Amershal has been forgotten, his tale lost in time.
